The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) show J.T. keeps chipping away at Victoria as the details about Ashley’s supposed corporate espionage come to light.
J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) found documents with Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) imprint on them in Jack’s (Peter Bergman) desk at Jabot. Now, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) tells Victor (Eric Braeden), and she’s certain that Daddy will fire Ashley ASAP.
Meanwhile, in Victoria’s office, J.T. remarks on Victoria’s choice of lunch. He doesn’t approve, and wants to ensure she eats something healthier despite the fact that she’s happy enough to load up on carbs and sweets — since when is he her food police?
Victor barges in, and tells J.T. to leave because this is well above his pay grade — ouch! J.T. storms out and Victoria asks how firing Ashley went. Uh oh, Victor decided not to let her go because he doesn’t have enough details that Ashley truly leaked the documents to her brother.
In fact, Ashley claims that Victoria had access to the documents, and she blames Victoria for their leak!
Later, Victoria slinks home, and shocker J.T. is angry at the way Victor treated him earlier. He tells Victoria she’ll always be her daddy’s little girl which means she’ll never be the real CEO. (As opposed to the fake one she is now?)
Ultimately, he points out to her that Victor treats her and the rest of his family like pawns in a chess game. Plus, he’s not defending Victoria against Ashley’s allegations. In fact, the only family Victoria has is J.T.
He’s isolating her and undermining her confidence, which looks awfully abusive in the big picture. At a minimum, he’s manipulating her to try to get the goods on Victor to satisfy Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell).
Is Victoria strong enough to not only handle The Mustache and his devious ways, but also an abusive partner? It looks like she might crack under the overwhelming pressure.
