Hey There, Bestie

Adam gets a special treat when he runs into his childhood best friend Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico). He can’t wait to introduce her to his family and runs home to ask Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) if she’s cool with her coming for a visit. Of course, it’s great! In fact, Chelsea looks forward to hearing all about Adam’s life before Genoa City.

When Alyssa arrives it’s all fun and games until her parents are brought up. She tells stories of Hope, a few of Adam, but once the topic gets onto her dad it all falls apart. As it turns out, Alyssa did not have an easy life.

Kindred Spirits

Much like Adam, Alyssa’s dad is a bit of a baddie. He spent some time in the slammer and later died before she could really get to know him again. That’s okay, though, she was always welcome on the farm where Hope welcomed her with open arms.

Did Victor Do Something Sinister?

It sounds like a sweet story, right? It is until Adam puts more pieces together. Alyssa’s daddy loved her but he was not a good guy. He was a scheming loan shark who dealt with the worse of the worst. It’s no wonder he turned up dead.

That’s not the worst of it, though. Something about the timing of AJ’s death hits a note with Adam. He died at the same time Victor rolled into town. Coincidence? Adam thinks not.
