Rey had a brush with death and The Young and the Restless spoilers show everyone is on the hunt for his attacker. A deadly poison almost took him out and the evildoer needs to go down. We have a feeling the cops don’t need to look any further than the cottage. What if the culprit is inside the house? What if it’s Rey himself?
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Spec
Why would Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) do such a thing, you ask? To get Adam (Mark Grossman) away from Sharon, of course! Think about it, the poison was only found in his products and was safely kept away from anything Sharon (Sharon Case) or Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) would touch. It was only in his products and only things he’s actually used.
Green-Eyed Monster
Not only that, but think about how long Rey delayed Sharon calling for help. He wanted to be good and sick before heading to the hospital. Rey waited for the right signs and symptoms to appear that would lead the doctors in the right direction so he could get the antidote.
Rey was barely on the mend before he started blaming Adam (Mark Grossman). Who else would have a motive, Rey inferred. No one. No one at all. Don’t even think about investigating anyone else. Why bother looking at any other suspects? Just look at Adam!
Sounds like a good plan, eh? Sure, until it backfires. All secrets come out in the end and Rey will land in some serious hot water when it does. He’ll be in big trouble with his job, his wife, and his rival. There is no one more dangerous than an Adam scorned.
The Usual Suspects
Okay, okay, we know what you’re thinking – what about Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson)? You’re sure they did all this to frame Adam, right? We thought so too for a while but that’s too easy. We suspect they’re a red herring and just a way to distract the audience from Rey.
