The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, March 23, 2020, find Mariah resolved that she and Tessa are never, ever getting back together. If only there were someone she could turn to for advice about that…
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is young. She grew up on TV and movies and the internet. And if there is one thing that TV and movies and the internet must have taught her, it’s that grand gestures always win back the love of your life. No matter what you did.
So Mariah went with a grand gesture. She interrupted Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Tanner’s concert to tell the audience what a bad person she was, how she cheated on Tessa, and how she is begging for her to come back. A mortified Tessa ran off. (Who wouldn’t?)
Mariah: Looking To the Future
Now Mariah is facing a lifetime without Tessa. She doesn’t believe she will ever get over losing the great passion of her existence.
We can see why she’d think so. Prior to Tessa, Mariah dated Devon (Bryton James). And he knew he would never get over the loss that was Hilary (Mishael Morgan), the most saintly person ever. No one could possibly understand the love they’d shared or Devon’s grief.
Role Models
Not even Devon’s dad, Neil (Kristoff St. John). Who lost the love of his life, Dru (Victoria Rowell). Or Jack (Peter Bergman), who lost the love of his life, Luan (Elizabeth Song)… although now he doesn’t even remember her. Or their son, Keemo.
Remember when Victor (Eric Braeden) sobbed over whatshername? Sabrina? The child bride he married, worshiped, and promptly forgot?
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) lost a child. So did Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case).
All of those people picked up the pieces and moved on. But you do you, Mariah. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
