The Young and the Restless spoilers for September 7-11, 2020, tease a deterioration in Sharon’s condition, a revelation for Amanda, and so much more!
Sharon (Sharon Case) is summoned to her oncologist’s office in the wake of further testing to determine whether or not the lumpectomy was successful in removing all traces of her cancer.
Despite multiple pleas to the contrary, Sharon insists on going to the appointment on her own. Upon her return home, it’s clear that the pathology report did not yield positive results.
Instead, it confirms that Sharon’s cancer has not abated – a situation that leaves her reeling. Luckily, she has Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and the rest of her loved ones to lean on during this trying time.
After obtaining a sample of her doppelganger’s DNA, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) submits it alongside some of her own. In due course, Nate (Sean Dominic) announces that the results are in, and Amanda heads to the clinic to hear them.
Upon her arrival, she discovers that the answers to her questions await her inside a sealed envelope – and Nate is none the wiser. When he offers to leave her alone, Amanda requests that he stay, and they examine the results together. Afterward, Amanda heads to Devon’s (Bryton James) apartment and readies herself to relay the news.
In other Genoa City news, Lola (Sasha Calle) sees a different side of Theo (Tyler Johnson), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) gives Nick (Joshua Morrow) the third degree, and Billy (Jason Thompson) puts a revenge plot into motion.
Meanwhile, the Newman family and company continue to bend over backward to help Adam (Mark Grossman) – Chance (Danny Boaz) included. While the escalating tension disrupts Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) harmonious coupling, it also leaves poor Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) feeling like an outsider. So, she lays all the blame squarely at Sharon’s feet!
Finally, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) hides something from Billy and she makes a power move that leaves Nick stunned. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
