Nate (Dominic Sean) committed a cardinal sin in the medical profession — he helped a patient fake his death. The patient was Victor (Eric Braeden), and odds are Nate wasn’t given a lot of choice in the matter.
Victor told Nate what he should do, and Nate sucked it up and did it. It doesn’t matter that Victor has known Nate since he was a little boy.

It doesn’t matter that his mom, Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams) was a friend, or that Nate came to Genoa City specifically at Victor’s request. When Victor wants something, he doesn’t care about the consequences… for other people.
Well, now Nate is facing them (while Victor presumably kicks back at the ranch, maybe takes a horse ride). He has to go before the medical board. He might lose his license to practice medicine forever. But, hey, Victor is happy. Is there any greater reward than that? Victor did say he’d try to help. Will he?
