The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Seeks Rey’s Blessing

The Young and the Restless spoilers promise some heartwarming moments coming your way. Kyle and Lola’s engagement is on, but he can’t make it official without talking to a very important member of Lola’s family. Will he get Rey’s blessing to take Lola’s hand?

Kyle (Michael Mealor) wants his second marriage to be his last. Which mean, he has to do things right this time. No rushing to the altar, no schemes or scams, and no asking a woman to marry him who he does not love. He wants his and Lola’s wedding (and marriage) to be perfect.

He does not want to miss a single step. They dated, they moved in, and he proposed, but a few things are missing. First and foremost is the age-old tradition of asking for Lola’s hand in marriage. Her father is no longer around so that leaves Rey to take their dad’s place.

Spoilers reveal Kyle’s putting on his brave face and meeting up with Lola’s big brother. This is a life-altering event you will not want to miss. Rey has a few things to say and Kyle better sit and listen!

First, Rey wants to make sure Kyle means it this time. Isn’t he still married to Summer? He seems to be moving on rather quickly from her bed (pot, meet kettle – Rey is still married too). However, he knows where Kyle is coming from —  love is love and that is just the way it is.

Teasers show Rey providing Kyle with some deep seeded marriage advice and hopes he takes it all to heart. He makes Kyle promise to cherish Lola, put her first, and take care of her always. He may have the means and the money but Rey needs to make sure Kyle has the heart.

Thankfully, Kyle passes Rey’s tests with flying colors. He earns his spot in Lola’s life and the Rosales family. He just needs to divorce Summer first. If not, he will not be walking down the aisle at all.
