The Young and the Restless spoilers for October 1 kick off the month with Nikki trying to keep her family together, Sharon doing the same on a smaller scale, and Lily and Billy reaping what they sowed.

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) made it clear to Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil) that she can’t tell them whether or not to publish Alyssa’s exposé on Adam (Mark Grossman), she can only make sure they’re legally covered. Billy and Lily will have to make that call themselves.
Billy is determined to go ahead with the article. But, even before it hits the Internet, Billy and Lily are forced to face the consequences of playing Woodward and Bernstein.
Mama Is Going To See To It!
While Victor (Eric Braeden) caters to Adam’s whims, he accuses Victoria (Amelia Heinle) of daring to have priorities ahead of her family, and tries to guilt Nick (Joshua Morrow) into doing what his sister won’t, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is being more practical.

She is currently the one both of her children are willing to make concessions to, and Nikki isn’t afraid to take advantage of her power. Victor can scowl and fume and make empty threats. Nikki is going to fix things.
Oh Sharon
When she isn’t worried about Adam, Sharon (Sharon Case) remembers that she has a disease to fight. And that it isn’t only her battle. It’s Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) and Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) battle, too. Sharon wants to protect her daughter, not just from the consequences of Sharon’s cancer, but also from what’s about to blow up in the Newman family.
