The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Faith’s Health Crisis Worsens

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, May 4 pick up with Adam and Nick trapped in a storm, while Rey feels trapped in his marriage.

Since we’re in Kansas, obviously there’s a tornado. And since Adam (Mark Grossman) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) despise each other, obviously they are trapped in a storm cellar together.

The brothers try teamwork by grabbing a handy battering ram (all houses have one in the Midwest, didn’t you know?) and slamming it at the wooden door. Which 1) Open inward, so they’re going against the hinges. And 2) Seems to have a very flimsy lock on it.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to aim at the knob, break it off, and then use that to open the door? Otherwise, why not patiently unscrew and remove the hinges? We realize it doesn’t build up as much of a manly sweat, but it actually might, you know, get them out of there.

Meanwhile, Back In Genoa City

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) would like to still remind Sharon (Sharon Case) that he is unhappy with how much headspace she is dedicating to Adam. Yeah, Sharon is pretty much aware of that by now. He also wants her to know that he is starting to come around to her way of thinking that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is the one responsible for his poisoning.

This circular conversation needs to be put on hold as they receive word of Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) condition deteriorating. We’re not sure why they’re so taken off guard. Elena (Brytni Sarpy) made it very clear to Sharon that the hormones weren’t working, and Faith would need either a transplant or dialysis.

Based on how Nick and Sharon are acting, it sounds like they think if Faith doesn’t get the transplant before going on dialysis, that option is off the table. They should listen more. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
