The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, November 15, reveal an outbreak of selfishness in Genoa City. We mean a greater-than-usual one.
Victor and Nikki circle the wagons to protect the Newman name (that’s code for the Newman money). Billy and Victoria look out for themselves, and Abby puts her own needs first.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) reassured a contrite Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that the hostage situation with Simon (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) would not damage his quest for a City Council seat.
But Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) are also there to make sure that news of Chelsea, Adam (Mark Grossman), and Connor (Judah Mackey) being held hostage by a lowlife thug doesn’t hurt the family image.
Even Jack (Peter Bergman) gets involved since he did agree to help Nick’s campaign after all. However, Nick eventually has to come to a very big decision.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) finally got Daddy to hand over the family company to her, but Billy (Jason Thompson) hasn’t been as lucky. He has to share — boo, hiss! — with his nephew, Kyle (Michael Mealor).

Abby (Melissa Ordway) tried to be a team player when it came to The Grand Phoenix. But, first, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) blackmailed a ten percent stake out of Abby, then Chelsea’s criminal dealings lead to a host of guest cancellations.
So Abby is done. No more Miss Nice Guy. Abby is ready to protect her investment and make sure she doesn’t get taken for a ride again. Will she shove her partners out of the way and fight fire with fire?
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) ingratiates herself with Chance (Donny Boaz) and Adam (Mark Grossman), wanting to know what the two are up to. All they want is for her to leave. The problem is, it’s not that easy to get rid of Phyllis, as these men have both learned.
