The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

With the 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony set to air on Friday, June 26, 2020, YR has chosen to spotlight five of their actors who have all snagged the precious statuette.

From Tragedy Springs Triumph

On Monday, June 22, viewers will be transported back to the summer of 1984 and bear witness to a distraught Traci Abbott attempting to end her life. That incident and Traci’s subsequent reaction to being saved by Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) resulted in actress Beth Maitland snagging the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress – making her the first YR performer to win at the awards show!

Hope Springs Eternal

Eric Braeden was awarded the “gold lady” on May 15, 1998 – during the 25th annual ceremony. The work he submitted – which featured Victor Newman adjusting to his new surroundings on Hope Adams’s (Signy Coleman) farm – is highlighted on the episode airing Tuesday, June 23.

Dark Night of the Soul

Thursday’s episode features a flashback to November 15, 1991, and a stunning tour de force from actor Peter Bergman whose Jack Abbott makes a confession concerning his marriage to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).

Sweet Child O’Mine

The week wraps up with a look back at the successful custody battle that Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) fought to hold on to Cassie.
