The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, September 17, 2019, reveal a day os sadness and suspicion throughout Genoa City as word spread of Victor’s death. Was it his illness? Was it the medical trial? Or, was it murder?

All Eyes On Adam

The ugly accusations began the minute Victor (Eric Braeden) died. Nick (Joshua Morrow) was the first one to point the finger at Adam (Mark Grossman) and he is still the loudest. He even talks his mom into calling Michael and sounding the alarm bells.

The Newmans sit Michael (Christian LeBlanc) down and point-blank accuse Adam of murder. Yes, Victor was ill but he was doing better until right after that last blow out with Adam. The baddie vowed revenge.

Victor’s family members aren’t the only ones with suspicions. When Adam breaks the news to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) she can’t help but fear the worst. She voices her concerns to Nick and makes sure to add more fuel to that fire.

Even Victor’s enemies have their Adam in their sights. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) bangs down her best frenemy’s door and demands he let her in. They drink a little too much and pick apart Adam’s revenge plot. There is no way the new meds would work this fast and furious, right? No, the agreed, it was not the pills.

A Budding Cover-Up Conspiracy?

Even the DA himself has Adam pegged as a killer. Watch for Michael to barge into the Penthouse demanding answers. What went down with Victor? Did Adam kill his dad? Is Michael getting dragged into a mess?

Michael may as well be talking to a brick wall. Obviously, Adam’s not going to incriminate himself or give his old buddy a heads up.

The Ugly Truth

Of course, deep down, Adam knows all these people could very well be right. He can tell himself it wasn’t the meds but he knows better. Adam better hope he covered his tracks and pray the autopsy comes back clean. One wrong move or one teeny tiny mistake and he could be in jail for the rest of his life.
