The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Devon Sees Hilary Again — And Amanda

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, December 4, 2019, reveal Devon’s issues aren’t going away any time soon. (Like we ever really thought they would.)

He has to fight for his money, hold down Tucker’s company, battle old demons, and struggle to be the man Elena deserves. It’s a lot for just one man.

The Young and the Restless Spoiler Highlights

Devon’s (Bryton James) do-it-all attitude is coming back to bite him. The stress of putting it all on himself and carrying around the weight of the stress hits him hard — especially when Elena (Brytni Sarpy) puts her foot down.

His insistence on micromanaging his entire life is hurting him, it’s hurting her, and it’s hurting them. It’s time he put self-care and their love life on the front burner again.

Of course, Devon knows he’s been slipping. He’s never really been boyfriend of the year to anyone but it’s getting worse as time goes on. However, things are about to take another dark turn. He takes her advice, pushes back some meetings, and lays down for a few winks. Unfortunately, his nap will turn into a nightmare.

I’m Not Dead, Silly

He barely gets to sleep before he sees Hilary (Mishael Morgan) by his side, cuddling in, and caressing him. She looks real, she feels real, and he questions how she’s there.

That’s easy, it was all a tragic nightmare. She didn’t die, she was always here. Poor Devon almost cries with relief as he leans in for a kiss.

In a startling twist, Hilary then turns into Amanda and Devon’s (dream) world spirals out of control. This woman has his wife’s face, voice, look, and even her sizzling style. It’s a perfect imitation except it’s not. No one will ever be his Hilary.

When Devon wakes up he tries to shake off the trauma but it’s not easy. So, he does the only thing he can do and calls Elena. Will concentrating on his new love help him get over his old one?
