The Young and the Restless spoilers for April 5 – 9, 2021, tease Adam passing the buck, Sharon offering her ears, Amanda speaking her truth, Chelsea potential squandering her victory, and so much more.
In light of his saving Faith’s (Faith Newman) life, Sharon (Sharon Chase) agrees to Adam’s (Mark Grossman) request for a face-to-face. And though she point-blank informs him that she’s on the fence where his innocence or guilt is concerned, Sharon does agree to listen to his explanation.
And what she hears does not please her. How on earth can Adam say that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is responsible for all of her and Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) recent misfortune? The woman’s completely paralyzed!
Not so, says Adam. He saw her roll her shoulders and cock her head with his own two eyes. Undeniable proof that Chelsea is guilty as sin…so will Sharon go out and prove his innocence? Pretty please?
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) answers a knock at her door and is stunned to come face to face with Sutton Ames, her biological grandfather. He’s come to discuss her participation, or lack thereof, in his upcoming trial – and he stays for the tsunami of emotions that Amanda heaps upon him.
Once she’s spent, Amanda is blindsided by a series of claims from Sutton – namely that her mother had the ultimate say in giving up her twins for adoption, and that he followed her and Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) progress through their entire life. Now the big question. Will Amanda offer her assistance to the family that so wronged her?
Chelsea celebrates her freedom from Adam, but her actions may prove to be a tad premature. Nick (Joshua Morrow) pays her a visit, and spoilers warn that it takes a shocking turn. Might he stumble upon the fact that she has full control over her faculties? And if he does, how far will Chelsea go to stop him from spilling her secret?
In other Genoa City news, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) await confirmation of Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) condition, and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) delivers bad news to Jack (Peter Bergman).
Meanwhile, Nate (Sean Dominic) looks out for his best interests, and Victor (Eric Braeden) finally gets his own back against Billy (Jason Thompson). Cue the evil belly laugh!
Finally, Ashland (Richard Burgi) backs Kyle (Michael Mealor) into a corner, and Lily (Christel Khalil ) gives Victoria (Amelia Heinle) a stern reality check. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
