The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, July 3, 2020 kick off the holiday weekend with a crazy-good time as – back on August 15, 2003 – Isabella attempts to get her revenge on Christine, while Phyllis protects her territory, and Nikki won’t be cowed.
The Young and the Spoilers Highlights
Because of YR hopping back and forth in time (like The Time Traveler’s Wife!) with their reruns, viewers have seen Paul’s (Doug Davidson) crazy ex-wife, Isabella (a pre-Desperate Housewives Eva Longoria) plotting to get him into bed, plotting her own death, plotting Christine’s (Lauralee Bell) death, then their crazy son, Ricky, following in her footsteps.
To orient you in time for this classic episode, Paul and Isabella have married, she’s faked her own death and framed Christine for it, and now Paul has finally put two and two together… and is charging into the rescue!
Stand Back
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Damon (Keith Hamilton Cobb) have built up a nice rapport in the lab, and Phyllis might have her eye on taking the relationship further. Which is why when she spots Victoria (then-Heather Tom) also having a nice rapport with Damon and looking like she might be thinking of taking the relationship further, Phyllis steps in to say, “Uh-uh, no way.”
Shame Victoria isn’t one to take warnings from anyone – much less Phyllis – with the seriousness they deserve. But that’s what comes from being Victor’s (Eric Braeden) daughter, we guess. What do you mean I can’t have what I want the minute I want it?
Nod To Nikki
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has married several corporations – sorry, we meant men – in her day. Victor didn’t want her anywhere near the decision making spots at Newman. Maybe she’ll have an easier time at Jabot?
After all, we don’t know if Nikki has any experience in whatever it is that Newman makes. But she knows how to attract a man… which is what Jabot is selling. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
