The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 23, 2019, promise an explosive day for Cane, Jill, and Devon. The new reality of Katherine’s will is a shock and now it’s time to deal with the consequences. Makes sure to tune in so you don’t miss a minute of the action.
It’s a bad day to be Devon (Bryton James) when he gets a call from Jill (Jess Walton). She’s verified the discovered pages of Katherine’s will and it looks legit. In fact, her expert claims the will read after the funeral was a fake with forged signatures.
Poor Devon will be forced to face a harsh reality. If this is true and the new will is real then his life will change forever. Or, not. He’s actually under no legal obligation to give up the cash. Those statutes have run out and he’s well within his rights to hold onto his fortune.
But will he? Devon’s a good guy who doesn’t do well with a guilty conscience. He may hate Cane (Daniel Goddard) but he loved his grandma and would want to honor her memory, right?
Well, Cane’s not willing to take that chance. He’s the rightful heir and he wants his money. Okay, sure, he may not really have a legal leg to stand on but that will not stop him from chasing the cash. Katherine wanted him to have it and by golly, he’s going to get it.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Cane about to become a very money-hungry man. It was mere months ago he was all about charity work to impress his ex but that’s all out the window now. There are billions of dollars on the line and he’s not walking away.
Does this feel off to you? If it does, it’s because it should. This feels an awful lot like a shakedown by a big-time schemer. And with Daniel Goddard leaving the show, we wonder if Cane might be behind this. (We don’t want him to be.)
