The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Wednesday, July 25 focuses on troubled Genoa City citizens coming to terms with certain situations in their lives.
Together Forever
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) wakes to see Devon (Bryton James) planning their wedding. He’s sent out the invitations to their closest family and friends. The wife-to-be is excited for the nuptials, but the rush puts her on alert.
Phyllis Learned the Truth
Hilary didn’t have time to question the situation because there are visitors on the way. When Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) arrives, Hilary updates her friend.
Not only is she getting married, but she also wants her bestie to be the maid of honor. Of course, Phyllis is more than happy to oblige.
An excited Phyllis rushes off to buy a dress, but stops just long enough to grill Devon (Bryton James) about the surprise nuptials.
The Interrogation Began
Lily (Christel Khalil) connects with her family to discuss an upcoming investigation. She has to talk to the police and is nervous.
The accident has her rattled and she wants the legal part cleared up ASAP. However, Lily’s truth isn’t really the truth. She doesn’t remember the red light.
Lily is as honest as she can be during her questioning and admits she wasn’t in a good state of mind behind the wheel and why.
She and Hilary were arguing and the truck came out of nowhere. She didn’t see it coming and didn’t have time to respond.
Who’s To Blame?

While Lily is at HW talking to the cops, Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) delivers a wedding invitation to Shauna (Camryn Hamm).
He tells her she needs to see Hilary soon and to stop blaming herself. Well, he gets an earful when Shauna drops a bomb – she saw Lily run the red light!
Break Up or Run Away?
Also at HW are Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) who have an explosive argument. Mariah begs Tessa to stay and bring her sister back to GC to clear her name instead of going on the run.
But, Tessa is adamant. She has to protect her little sister at all costs. Mariah warns Tessa that she will follow Tessa out of town if she has to.
Righting A Wrong
Back a the hospital, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Hilary share a moment of peace as they clear the air. The war between them is in the past and they agree to a clean slate going forward.
