The Young and the Restless Spoilers
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, February 12, 2020, reveal a day of history repeating itself throughout Genoa City.
Billy decides to play knight in shining armor and Rey goes back to hassling Kyle. It feels like it was just last year. You won’t want to miss a moment of this deja vu episode.
Billy (Jason Thompson) already spent the night — platonically — in Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan) hotel room to protect her from Ripley (Christian Knowles).
It’s actions like that that made it so easy for Victor (Eric Braeden) to convince Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that Billy and Amanda were already sleeping together.
Now, after she tells him that she had Ripley arrested, Billy is raring to go to play hero for a second time. After all, he no longer has a home and family, so what better thing is there for him to do?
But, be careful, Billy. Your nephew, Kyle (Michael Mealor), just told Jack (Peter Bergman) a pathetic and self-serving story about how it wasn’t that he loved Lola (Sasha Calle), he only loved her looking at him as a hero, and he wallowed in playing hero as a way to push back his feelings about Summer (Hunter King).
But now that’s all over. And a perfect justification for jumping into bed with Summer literally minutes after telling Lola their marriage was over. Sounds like Billy is about to dive into the same pool of denial. The Abbott men like it there.
Strangely, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) isn’t nearly as receptive to Kyle’s poor me story as Jack was. Rey has a lot of stress in his life. Who would have thought?

Do you know what would help him feel more in control? Giving Kyle a hard time over hurting Rey’s baby sister. Rey never liked Kyle.
