The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, November 20, 2019, reveal Billy setting himself free. He makes a bombshell decision about his future sure to leave jaws on the floor.

The Young and the Restless Spoiler Highlights

Billy (Jason Thompson) needs something to give in his life. He’s stressed to the max and it’s affecting every part of his life. His all work, no play attitude is making him a very dull boy. So, he decides to get rid of the thing that makes him the most miserable — Jabot.

That’s It, I Quit!

Billy shows up at the Abbott mansion for a talk with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland). He wants more out of life than the family legacy. It’s not him, it’s not who he is, and it’s best in the hands of someone more dedicated to keeping the legendary company on top.

Billy fought tooth and nail for the Jabot throne but he’s come to realize he wanted the top spot for the impressive title which is not the right reasons. He’s driven his brother crazy, he nearly drove his nephew away, and his heart is just not in it.

That’s Quite A Twist, Billy!

To say Jack is shocked is an understatement. Months and months of battling Billy have come to this. Boy, Jack will not see this coming. He thought for sure this is what Billy wanted, but so did Billy.

Nevertheless, Jack stays true to form and shows his support. If Billy wants a change and more time with his family then so be it. Who is Jack to stand in his way? Heck, Jacky-Boy walked away from Jabot to help write a book.

All this drama has us wondering, who will take charge at Jabot? Will Kyle (Michael Mealor) get the keys to the kingdom and the okay to go it alone? Maybe Jack will come out of his break and get back to work.

Ashley could come home and take the reigns too. One thing’s for sure, things at the office are sure to turn upside down.

Of course, we also wonder, who really quit Jabot? Was it our ‘real’ Billy or Gum-Chewing Billy. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
