The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, December 6, 2019, reveal another day of emotional turmoil in Genoa City,

Expect more worrying about the health and happiness of Conner Newman. Meanwhile, Abby is worried about the health of her business, and whether Phyllis’ happiness depends on taking it away from her.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Even before he returned to Genoa City, Connor (Judah Mackey) was of primary concern for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). This is appropriate, he’s her only child.

(Johnny Abbott, who? Since she got back to town and even shared scenes with Billy and Victoria, there’s been not so much as a hint that Chelsea remembers they’re raising her son.)

Adam (Mark Grossman) being worried about Connor is natural, too. What it isn’t, is interesting. Fans watch soaps for love and romance in the afternoon. Not so they can relive parent-teacher conferences… for someone else’s kid.

On Thursday, Adam is scheduled to fret that he is a bad influence on Connor. He likely is. Odds are good Connor will grow up to fake his own death, just like Daddy and Grandpa.

But, Adam, either change your ways or don’t. Quit sitting around and wringing your hands about it. It’s time to man up and be everything you say you want Connor to be. Is this a turning point?

Conflict Of Interest

Chance’s (Danny Boaz) observation prompted Abby (Melissa Ordway) to suspect that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is trying to sabotage The Grand Phoenix via a backdoor security computer program… and some comically inept thieves.

Chelsea agrees and thought that moving in with Adam might help them get to the bottom of what Phyllis is plotting, but she is currently too busy worrying about Connor’s stomachaches to think about business.

So it’s up to Abby to confront Phyllis. And it’s up to Phyllis to do what Phyllis does best — obfuscate. Will Abby believe her denials, or keep digging? And will Chance help?
