The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, April 2, 2020, reveal a day of big decisions and big moves.
Amanda takes steps to secure the future she wants, while Phyllis and Nick take a step forward, and Victoria tries not to backslide. You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional episode.
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) has been in Genoa City for months now. Granted, the first few of them were spent with people chastising her for daring to look like Hilary. Clearly, this was all part of some evil plot! It was. But Amanda had nothing to do with it.
She spent some more time meeting Billy (Jason Thompson) in dive bars. He was married (kinda-sorts), so it obviously couldn’t go anywhere. Amanda doesn’t even want it to go anywhere.
More recently, Amanda had a stalker for a minute. He stabbed Victoria (Amelia Heinle) by accident when he mistook her for the African-American Amanda, then was arrested offscreen.
So now Amanda is free to go on with her life. She still doesn’t want to go anywhere with Billy. He’s kind of a mess. Do you blame her?
But what about Nate (Sean Dominic)? Nate is sweet and cool and hot, all at the same time. Could they have a future together? Time for Amanda to find out!

After discussing what great sex they have on desks, then having (presumably) great sex on a desk, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) decided to give their tortured relationship yet another shot. They know Summer (Hunter King) is against it. But who cares what Summer thinks? Well, they are about to find out in detail…
When Victoria ended up stabbed instead of Amanda, it affected more than just her side. The attack affected Victoria’s confidence. It didn’t help when Victor (Eric Braeden) moved Nick into the CEO chair at Newman.
Will she be able to come back and be the woman she was before? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
