The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 24, 2020, reveal Adam’s memories come flooding back, but are they enough? And how will he handle them?
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has to wake Adam (Mark Grossman) when he’s having a nightmare on the couch. In the nightmare, he hears AJ Montalvo screaming at this mother but he can’t be sure what they’re saying. Of course, once Adam is awake, he blows off Chelsea and runs straight to Sharon (Sharon Case).
This time she doesn’t just ask him about his childhood, giving him light and easy questions. He is absolutely frantic so she decides its time to dig deep and we get flashbacks of 11-year-old Adam hiding under a table terrified while his mother is verbally attacked.
Flashback To Age 11
AJ is demanding the money Cliff owed him that Hope insists she doesn’t have and there’s nothing she can do about it. Hope becomes especially horrified when he threatens Adam and that prompts Adam to come out of hiding and scream at AJ that he needs to leave his mother alone.

However, that is all he remembers. He still can’t recall attacking AJ and killing him. He just remembers life changed after that. Still, he has to know what happened after that and runs out of Sharon’s house. Chelsea shows up next to find out what’s going on and eventually she and Sharon realize Adam is missing.
Adam Takes Off
Where did he go? Did he take a short visit to see Victor (Eric Braeden) and get more information out of him or did he decide that Kansas is where he has to be to remember it all and confront his past?
That’s what Sharon suspects happened. Despite Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) objections — and despite just having major surgery — Sharon decides she needs to find Adam and come to his rescue.
