The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, December 17, 2019, reveal a day of bold proposals and shocked reactions.
Abby goes on a date with Chance as Sharon tries to figure out her holiday plans and Adam tells Phyllis he has a brilliant plan for solving both their problems!
Having established that she and Nate (Sean Dominic) can still be friends, Abby (Melissa Ordway) goes on a date with Chance (Donny Boaz). The pair discuss romantic topics like Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) will and The Grand Phoenix’s security concerns. Eventually, they kiss.
There better be more to Chance than this. What did Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) say about him in Las Vegas with a duffel bag… and a gun?
What is Chance really hiding and will whatever he is hiding result in yet one more failed relationship for poor Abby?
Sharon (Sharon Case) discusses Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) coming home for Christmas with Mariah (Camryn Grimes). She and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) tip-toe around their holiday plans, both wanting to spend them together, but neither one sure how to ask.
Why are they acting like this? They’ve slept together. They’ve lived together. Is hanging out on Christmas such a big deal? Especially since Rey’s only family in town, Lola (Sasha Calle), has likely already made plans with her new husband’s family.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is incensed that Connor’s (Judah Mackey) principal doesn’t want the boy coming back to school. She even consults with attorney Amanda (Mishael Morgan)!
Meanwhile, Adam is also stressing over Conner. He visits Nikki and tells her everything and she’s actually sympathetic to her stepson, but Adam also has other things on his mind.

He says it’s for Connor’s sake, but Adam is not that altruistic, right? He still insists there is nothing more important on this earth than Connor.
