The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Pleads His Case

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 21, 2019 reveal Sharon’s shock at Adam’s proposal — but she didn’t say no.

Sharon (Sharon Case) certainly wasn’t expecting a marriage proposal when she agreed to meet Adam (Mark Grossman) in Chancellor Park for just a few minutes. Well, that few minutes turned into much longer when Adam gave her all the reasons why they must marry.

First, apparently, there’s nobody he has ever felt this way about because that call to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) about just needing to see her once and his pleas for her to move in with him meant nothing. (We can just assume?)

Sharon wholeheartedly agrees that their past love affair was absolutely amazing and Adam adds the night they recently shared was just as amazing. Sharon then reminds him that he also hurt her very badly both years ago and weeks ago.

Adam proceeds to tell her that what he did calling Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) over shouldn’t matter because Rey is not the right man for her anyway and that if she just marries him, she’d see that. Of course, he throws Christian in there as well.

He reminds Sharon she was once his “mother” and they remember how Sharon also did something horrible by keeping him once she learned “Sully” was never hers.

Sharon doesn’t give Adam an answer to his proposal because she needs time to think about it. But, does she think about it fast? Adam heads home after leaving the park and Sharon is fast behind him. When he answers his door he thinks she has an answer. Does she? And if so, is it an answer he wants to hear?
