The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, March 20, 2020, reveal a day of secret suspicions and family feuds.
Adam digs into Victor’s past, while Chelsea does the same to Nick, and Nikki disregards Victoria’s pleas. You won’t want to miss a moment of this Newman episode.
Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) went back to Hope’s (Signey Coleman) home in Kansas so they could get married. Did we miss that part? Or did they forget to do it? So caught up were they suddenly in the mystery of Alyssa’s dead dad.
Alyssa, it turns out, was Adam’s childhood best friend – whom we’ve never heard about until now, but are suddenly hearing about every day. Alyssa’s dad was a loan shark who got murdered. Adam and Hope didn’t go to his funeral because Victor (Eric Braeden) was visiting.
Ipso facto, Victor must have had something to do with his death, Adam and Chelsea surmised! (Victor will be happy to know that nothing can happen in the world without everyone assuming he had a hand in it.)

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) spent so much time fretting around Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that her daughter had to do a runner and head for her old office at Newman Enterprises.
There, she admitted she wasn’t ready to come back to work, agreed to go to therapy with Sharon (Sharon Case), and asked Nikki to stop treating her like she expected Victoria to crack at any moment.
