Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was nervous about her surgery, but she certainly never expected that a blood vessel bursting a few hours before she was scheduled to go under the knife would leave her paralyzed and unable to speak!
Adam (Mark Grossman) roped in Victor (Eric Braeden) to get Chelsea the best medical care – a subtle dig at Elena (Brytni Sarpy) if we ever saw one – but the end result is still critical. How will she adjust to her new condition and, more importantly, who will Adam decide to blame for what anyone else would have called an act of God?
Code Monkeys
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) assured Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she had a plan for paying back the money he loaned her to buy out Victoria (Amelia Heinle). And she does. It involves Kevin (Greg Rikaart) doing something underhanded on the computer.

Likely the kind of underhanded thing which, in the past, has caused problems in her relationship with Nick. But Phyllis is pretty sure everything will work out fine this time. After all, if they’re talking about marriage, they’re about as rock-solid as Nick and Phyllis ever get!
Mom’s the Word
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) spent days getting up the courage to call her biological mom, Naya. Then she couldn’t get the words once she did dial. Once Amanda finally spoke, though, and identified herself, it was Naya who seemed lost for words, to the point of hanging up.
Now Amanda is upset all over again. And where does Amanda go when she’s upset? She goes to Devon (Bryton James). Will he offer her more than a shoulder to cry on this time? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
