The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, April 16, 2020, promise a bad day for Abby. Her little game of dress-up all those weeks ago comes back to bite her. That one teeny-tiny scheme could cost her entire family dearly.
No one but Chadam is enjoying Adam (Mark Grossman) sitting on the Newman throne. Everyone wants him out but options are limited. Blackmailing a blackmailer is hard. They have to have just the right intel to make sure Adam backs off without a fight.
It’s Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to the rescue. She has the recording of Adam and Chance (Donny Boaz) chatting it up about the Vegas murder. Yes, that’ll do just fine. In fact, it should be more than enough, right? Yep, except the evidence is gone!
Red gets quite a shock when she goes to her safety deposit box for the thumb drive and discovers it missing! She gets the shady story of the heist and makes a beeline to Society to have it out with her wanna-be impersonator.
Spoilers show Abby (Melissa Ordway) laughing off the attack. In fact, she even admits she robbed the redhead and boasts about besting the Queen of Schemes. Sure, Abby, you won that battle, but that massive mistake will cost her and her family. The drive was the only way to take down Adam. Congrats, blondie.
To make things worse, Chance claims he destroyed the memory stick. There was no way he was keeping that laying around. Well, this is bad but Abby has a solution. Chance had Adam talking once, why not do it again? All it will take is the boys meeting up for a talk, Chance recording it, and BAM, the Newmans can get the company back.
Whoah there, not so fast Abby. Teasers show Chance isn’t exactly on board with trying to take down his bestie. Adam may be a lot of things but he’s also Chance’s hero. There is no way he’s stepping into this mess.
Don’t expect Chance’s reaction to sit well with Abby. She’s already on the edge and this could push her right over. How dare her boyfriend pick his bestie over her? Rumor has it this may even be the beginning of the end for the lovebirds. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
