No one is denying that Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) was a huge part of Genoa City. She was there from the beginning and she made many close friends. She helped Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) go from stripper to great lady in order to enchant Victor (Eric Braeden). She helped Victor make slightly fewer mistakes than he would have otherwise made. She helped John (Jerry Douglas) through business issues, and she tried to help Dina (Marla Adams) win him away from Jill (Jess Walton).

Ah, yes, Jill. Sure, there was a time when she and Kay actually believed they were mother and daughter. But for the bulk of the time, they out and out hated each other. Will Jill also be expected to wax poetic about her old foe?

And what are we supposed to think about Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil) working together? When the last batch of episodes left off, the show was definitely teasing something burgeoning in that direction.
