The Young and the Restless spoilers for August 19-23 promise a dramatic week in Genoa City as Adam pops a surprise question, Michael is put on the spot, and Kyle and Lola share a rare moment of bliss!
To The Happy Couple
Now that Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) have gotten married, it’s time for the reception! Family and friends will gather to toast the happy couple, but, as with any large gathering, not everyone is getting along.
The arrival of Lola’s dad Adrian (Jay Montalvo) has some built-in conflict as the patriarch hasn’t exactly been a model father. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Arturo (Jason Canela) want their sister to be happy, but past resentments may resurface!
Billy’s Blues
The death of his daughter Delia occurred years ago and Billy (Jason Thompson) has gone on to have two more children, Johnny and Katie, with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). (Well, Johnny was technically with Chelsea.)
Yet, memories of Delia have been plaguing him and they continue to haunt Billy. He can’t stop thinking about his little girl and how she was unfairly ripped from his life — and Adam (Mark Grossman) is to blame! Watch for Billy to take action this week!
Bad Boys
Sharon (Sharon Case) has had her share of good men in her life — Nick (Joshua Morrow), Dylan (Steve Burton), and Rey — but she’s also occasionally drawn to those bad boys like Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) and Adam.
And they’re drawn to her, too! Watch for Adam to ask Sharon to once again be his wife! Will she accept? It looked as if she was getting closer to Rey again, but…
Cross-Examination

As a savvy attorney, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is used to asking questions not answering them. But he’ll be in the hot seat this week as Lauren (Tracey Bregman) questions the choices her husband has been making.
She’s well aware that Michael has a dark side, but Lauren believes that he put that in the past — without losing his keen legal edge. Now, he makes decisions that could have her questioning that belief. Lauren’s not alone in re-assessing Michael. Victor (Eric Braeden) also begins to question Michael’s loyalty.
Surprise Return
Watch for a familiar face to return to Genoa City towards the end of the week. We’ve already seen the returns of Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Even Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has popped up as a figment of Devon’s (Bryton James) imagination. (Or, was it?)
Could it be one of these four women or is someone else from the show’s past about to make his or her presence known once again? Stay tuned to find out! The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
