The Young and the Restless Spoilers: A Search For Lily Begins

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 21, 2020, take us to June 29, 2005, when Neil was desperately searching for runaway Lily… as were Phyllis and Nick. Plus, Dru and Malcolm had some serious stuff to discuss, and Michael got a shock about his dad.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Lily (Christel Khalil) decided that her dad didn’t know what he was talking about when it comes to love and relationships. He is like, totes old. He’s never been in love. And all his relationship knowledge is, like, from the past century.

Lily is old enough to make her own decisions. Which means running off with Daniel (Michael Graziadei) to California. (Where YR conveniently films).

Neil (Kristoff St. John) is in hot pursuit. As are Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) — who hope to get to the redhead’s son… before Neil wrings his neck.

Other Stuff

Dru (Victoria Rowell) is super-duper concerned about Lily, too. But she’s got other stuff going on. Like Malcolm (Shemar Moore) being back in town… and the issue of Lily’s paternity – and Neil’s knowledge of it – hanging over their heads. Is now really the best time to get into it? Priorities, folks, priorities…

Who Do You Know?

Like all good soap opera bad guys turned leading men, Michael (Christian Le Blanc) conveniently had the, oh, I was a poor, abused child defense (See: Newman, Victor, and the damn orphanage his mother left him in.) He’s not to blame for stalking and trying to rape Christine (Lauralee Bell)! It was society’s fault!

Michael was abused by his stepfather, Terrible Tom (Roscoe Born) – he’s Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) biological dad – while Gloria (Judith Chapman) did little to stop him. Michael thought he knew everything he needed to about Tom. But that was before he knew of the bastard’s connection to Ashley (Eileen Davidson). The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
