The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Ripley Stabs The Wrong Woman

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, February 20, 2020, reveal a day of hot tempers, dangerous exes, and a disastrous twist that could take out Victoria. The Newman party goes off the rails when Amanda’s ex turns up and attempts to kill the wrong woman.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Surprise! Ripley (Christian Keyes) is still in town and lurking around (like there was ever any doubt). Sure, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) put him on the bus out of town but they all forgot the bus route goes both ways. There was nothing stopping Ripley from turning around and coming right back — which, obviously, he did.

Of course, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) has no idea so she hustles around town without a care in the world. Well, at least not a care about him. She’s worried sick about Billy (Jason Thompson) though. She can see her buddy going off the rails and even accompanies him to the Newman party.

Security! Where Is The Security?!

Apparently, literally anyone can join the festivities. Not only do Billy and Amanda simply waltz off the elevator, so does Ripley. He stalks his ex all over the room and even follows her into the brand-new Victor Museum. No one cares, no one is looking, and no one even asks why someone so underdressed at a black-tie affair.

To make things worse, Amanda and Billy talk in hushed voices so Ripley can only see their body language instead of hearing their words. What looks like some hot and romantic moments are really an argument with Amanda trying to set her friend straight. In fact, she gets so frustrated with Billy she storms out.

Victoria and Amanda: Similar Features?

Sadly, this is where things go off the rails. Ripley doesn’t see her and mistakes Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for Amanda. They are dressed almost the same in off-the-shoulder white pantsuits, have their hair up, and are around the same height. Ripley fails to notice the difference in their skin tone due to the low lights and goes on the attack.

Ripley sinks a knife into Vicky’s side in the hopes of taking her out. (Well, not her, Amanda, but you get it.) She collapses in Billy’s arms and send everyone around them into a frenzy trying to get help. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
