Is there a clearer way to say, “I don’t need anything from you, thanks, Dad,” than by legally changing your name to your stepfather’s, signing papers that null and void any claims you may have on your birth family, and preparing to leave town?

Adam (Mark Grossman) did all that. And Victor (Eric Braeden) still seems to be under the impression that those are just Adam’s opening negotiation moves. No matter how many times he’s told to butt out, he insists on offering his two cents. This will be more of the same.

Older and Wiser

Theo (Tyler Johnson) told Summer (Hunter King) to tell Kyle (Michael Mealor) that Sally (Courtney Hope) is a schemer. But Kyle believes himself to be a pretty savvy judge of character. Sally has been telling Kyle how smart and insightful he is for days now. Obviously, Sally is one smart cookie! So insightful! So sincere!

Jack (Peter Bergman) is a little smarter than his dimwit of a son. Jack sees Sally’s naked ambition. He likes it. But he also has a few tips on how she might make that rise to the top go a little smoother.

No one is paying attention to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) these days. Not her husband, not her children, not her grandchildren. Good thing Nikki is smart enough to listen to her own inner voice. And her own inner voice is telling her to stand her ground. She made a commitment and she is going to stick to it. No matter how much the weasels are circling.
