The Young and the Restless Recap (YR): Double Crossers and Liars Exposed

The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Tuesday, February 20 features shocking secrets sure to ruin the Newman family.

A Terrible Truth
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was in for a rough day as she struggled to carve time out for J.T. (Thad Luckinbill). His neediness got to her but she went ahead and made the date.

Unfortunately, she didn’t have long to dwell on her boyfriend battles because Lily (Christel Khalil) broke the terrible news about Hilary’s scam. Hearing the details was a punch to the gut. Every single thing that went wrong at Brash & Sassy all boiled down to the case with Juliet.

A Shocking Secret Life
As bad as things were at the office, J.T.’s day also got worse. The truth about his extended visit came to light when he skipped out of the office to meet with Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell). It seems J.T.’s playing double agent and is using his new position at NE to dig up dirt on The Mustache.

Not only is J.T. trying to expose Victor but he’s playing Victoria too. He claimed to be doing all this to protect her and begged Paul for leniency for his gal but the proof is in the pudding.

If it wasn’t for Vicky there’d be no way he’d get close to Victor (Eric Braeden) at all.

Love and Romance
Cane and Lily (who did make it to their lunch date) rekindled their romance and things got hot and heavy fast. They didn’t even let a little thing like Vicky’s stunning apology or seeing Hilary at the bar ruin their day. In fact, they put it all behind them and spent the rest of the day in bed.

Victoria Hit Back
Poor Hilary (Mishael Morgan) got what was coming to her when she ran into Vicky at the Top of the Tower. Vic was already in a mood and didn’t hold back.

Another Partner In Crime
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) took matters into her own hands when she ran into Kevin (Greg Rikaart). While she couldn’t get him to agree on hacking the police system for Adam’s DNA records she did get the GCPD’s passwords.

The final step in her hunt came when Sharon (Sharon Case) took charge and headed to the police station with the log-in codes. She got on a computer and pulled Adam’s medical records and brought them straight back to Phyllis.

Nick’s Not the Daddy
The two woman stood behind the counter at Crimson Lights as Phyllis used her old medical lab knowledge to pour over the results. Both were horrified to discover Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) wasn’t lying at all. Christian really doesn’t belong to Nick!
