The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, July 16 featured Victor getting what’s coming to him, Nick dropping the ultimate bomb, and Jack receiving startling news.
It’s NOT JT!
In the alley, Victor (Eric Braeden) got quite the shock when the truth was revealed to him. Nick (Joshua Morrow) dropped a bombshell when he lowered his hood, pull off his rubber JT mask, and confessed everything!
Nick Tells All!
Nick was the one using JT’s credit cards, talking to the media, exposing Newman documents, and airing his father’s dirty laundry.
It was all a sinister plot to get back at his dad for taking away his son. Nick taunts him into exposing the truth.
He wants the bitter victory of having the world know his father, the great Neman powerhouse, was taken down by his own son.
The back alley rivalry ended when Nick walked away leaving Victor to ponder his next move. Nick went back to the house to assure Sharon their nightmare was over and amp up the romance.
Unfortunately, a quick interruption by Victor forced Nick to spill the whole sordid tale to his soon-to-be wife.
It was a lot to for poor Sharon to take in. Nick’s never gone dark before and she isn’t sure she can stay with him if he’s turning into his father.

Caught Red Handed
Phyllis beats Billy (Jason Thompson) at his own game when hired PI told her exactly where to find her boyfriend – in a room at the Club.
However, while she was expecting to find him with a woman she found him in a high stakes poker game. Well, She dragged him right out of the room and ripped a strip off him.
Sure, he may be on a winning streak and reclaimed possession of Jaboat, but it came at a cost.
Halting Romance
Also on the rocks are Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) who’s romance fizzles just as it begins to sizzle. He cut their make-out session short saying he doesn’t want to risk what they have. Their friendship means to much to him despite their undeniable heat.
Phillip’s NOT the Father!
Over at the Abbott mansion Jack (Peter Bergman) and Jill (Jess Walton) duked it out but their argument came to a sudden end when the DNA results arrived. It was the moment of truth and Jill wasted no time ripping into the envelope.
Sadly, it looks like Jack’s quest to find his dad isn’t over yet. He doesn’t have one drop of Chancellor blood running through his veins.
However, Dina produced a secret scrapbook of her life that could hold some answer. While nothing is immediately apparent, maybe, just maybe, there are answers lurking inside the pages.
Budding Young Love
Over at the Dive Bar, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) discussed what this movie night really means.
Their history of ups and downs nearly destroyed Mariah in the past but she’s the first to say she wants to try again. The couple agrees to let the cards fall where they may and count this night as their first date.
