The Young and the Restless spoiler breakdown for Friday, August 17 reveal Summer’s becoming more trouble by the minute. Her parents are in a panic their secret will come out and they know she has the upper hand.
Paying The Price
Begging, pleading, and even Nick (Joshua Morrow) throwing a pity party didn’t work on Summer (Hunter King) but, thankfully, a big, fat check did. However, the timing cuts it close.
Billy (Jason Thompson) hits up the office just moments after Nick’s grand offering and nearly gets an earful.
Of course, the check doesn’t mean all is right in the world. Nick hauls Summer to the dive bar to badger her some more but spoilers say she won’t have it. Her parents screwed up and she’s not going to feel guilty for their mistake.
In fact, Summer will drop more than one truth bomb on Nick that’ll give him a thing or two to think about.

A New Friend?
After, Nick sits at the bar to throw back a few drinks and has a chance run-in with a new guy in town. Ray (Jordi Vilasuso) can’t believe his luck meeting a member of the infamous Newman clan so soon. Well, at least that’s what he’ll have Nick believe.
As it turns out, Ray is investigating JT’s disappearance and is hunting down all the major players!
The Walls Are Still Closing In
Poor Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) gets some relief knowing the money ploy worked, but it won’t last long. That one night has done a lot of damage in her life and now she has to work on fixing it all.
First, she tries to get closer to Billy and next, she attempts (and fails) to make peace with Summer.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) starts his day waxing his car and the rest of it worrying he’ll have to give it away. Summer may be keeping mum about the scandal but she’s not done playing her games…continue reading on the next page —>
