The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, July 19 features the brewing Newman family war and Hilary’s tragic accident.
A Lot To Lose
Nick (Joshua Morrow) found himself in a tough spot when the ladies stormed out of his office. Their disgust came as a surprise, especially to Sharon (Sharon Case).
It wasn’t just her disdain for his company, but also for him as a person. He did all this for his family and it’s cost him their relationship.
There was good news when Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) called the family to the Club. The Newman clan sat together and came to terms with the new rivalry and even picked sides.
Abby and Noah (who is still overseas) decided to jump ship to work with Nick while Victoria stayed true to her father. However, Vicky’s loyalty came at a cost. She wants her old title back when Victor steps down.
A Familiar Face
While Victor chuckled about Nick and his band of family misfits going at it alone his laughter came to an end when Jack (Peter Bergman) arrived.
The former Jabot CEO will be working by Nick’s side and is the newest member of the Dark Horse board.
The End Of An Era?
Later, Sharon and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) had a heart to heart about the direction of their love lives.
Sharon’s not sure if she can be with Nick after all this and even took off her engagement ring. When Nick arrived home to some sharp words from Mariah, warning him to give Sharon space or he could lose her…continue reading on the next page —>

A Grim Reality
Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Mattie (Lexi Stevenson) were also at the club, but their dinner plans ended when a call from Charlie came in.
The two hightailed it to the hospital to await news of Lily and Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) condition. While Lily only suffered cuts and bruises, Hilary’s fate was hurt much worse.
Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Nate also got a shock when Shauna came banging down the door telling them to rush to the hospital. She quickly explained the accident and the men ran out the door.
Doctor On Call
Once there, Nate (Brooks Darnell) scrubbed in and did his best to save Hilary and her baby. It was a race against the clock and every move he made came with risks but he didn’t give up.
In the waiting room, Lily (Christel Khalil) joined the family and tried desperately to get ahold of Devon (Bryton James).
Sadly, Devon was nowhere to be found. During the wait, Cane did his best to piece together the accident and was horrified to learn it was Lily who ran a red light, not the truck driver.
