For the week of February 26 – March 1 on The Young and the Restless, spoilers tease Genoa City’s families scheming together, battling each other, and so much more. In other words, it’s another week of Y&R you’re not going to want to miss.
A Family that Schemes Together Stays Together
Unsurprisingly, Claire (Hayley Erin) remains a key component in Victor’s (Eric Braeden, who recently shared news about his health here) plans to take down Jordan (Colleen Zenk). He already buttered up Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) daughter, but now it’s time to set the trap for that Jordan woman who’s been tormenting Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and the Newman family for months.
Surprisingly, Victor and Victoria are able to reach an understanding about Claire. Does this mean Victor’s finally going to approve of this long lost Newman without having any ulterior motives?
Family Factions Assemble!
Over at Chancellor-Winters, the corporate climate is reaching Game of Thrones levels of uneasiness between families. It’s gotten so bad that even Esther (Kate Linder) tries to keep the peace between Devon (Bryton James) and Billy (Jason Thompson). Esther!
But a stubborn Devon stands his ground. Is this about the sudden name change Billy requested that Jill (Jess Walton) supports? And speaking of Ms. Abbott, she hit the nail on the head regarding Mamie’s (Veronica Redd) desires for CW. Look for Aunt Mamie to reveal to Nate (Sean Dominic) her motivations are exactly what Jill suspects. She wants the Winters Faction to take over the company.
Odds and Ends
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is currently making the Chancellor-Winters employees nervous on Jill’s behalf. She’s there to make sure the name change, among other things, is addressed. While she’s in town, she reconnects with her bestie, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). These two have a lot to talk about. Surely, the names Abby (Melissa Ordway), Danny (Michael Damian) and The Bug (Lauralee Bell) will come up during their catch-up.
Elsewhere, a confident Audra (Zuleyka Silver) thinks it’s okay to threaten Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in her bid to settle unfinished business with Tucker’s (Trevor St. John, find out Tucker’s True Love here) ex. If she thinks Ashley is going to back down just like that, think again. Especially when Ashley’s already acting a bit unhinged. Watch out, Audra.
Finally, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), once again, loses patience with Adam (Mark Grossman). Presumably this has to do with what’s going on with Connor (Judah Mackey) at his school. Will she work through this bump in the road with Adam or will she turn to Billy for support?
