The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans will be shocked to learn that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is heading out of the country for a secret second honeymoon. While this may seem like a romantic get away, it isn’t. Spoilers promise it’s all a ploy to make Newman Enterprises look vulnerable to attacks.
While Victor is away, he’s leaving his children to play key roles in the company. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) takes the reigns as the head of Newman Enterprises — a position she’s worked her entire life for. She’s thirsty for power and ready to dive in head first and make daddy proud.
Adam (Justin Hartley) leads the counter attack against the Santori clan. Victor’s theory is that if Luca (Miles Gaston Villaneuva) thinks Adam is the primary decision maker he’ll fall for their scheme.
Little do the Newmans know that there’s an even bigger threat that’s closer to home — Phyllis. She’s out for vengeance and she’ll stop at nothing to get what she wants. If she believes Victor is no match for her master plan, Vicky or Adam will be nothing to her.
Victor could be making a terrible mistake by disappearing. The Santori clan wants their piece of the Newman pie, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is on a corporate rampage, and Natalie is playing double agent. Victor may have confidence in his kids, but can they really hold their own when push comes to shove?
What do you think of Victor Newman leaving the country and having Victoria step up to the plate to lead Newman Enterprises? Victoria may be ruthless, but will she be enough? Tell us your thoughts by leaving a comment below or checking our Facebook Fan Page!
