The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 8, find sweet, innocent Claire continuing to sew discord between Kyle and Claire — all in her sweet, innocent way, of course. Why, like Norman Bates’ mother, Claire wouldn’t hurt a fly!
Fresh as a Daisy
Claire (Hayley Erin) came to Genoa City as a savvy businesswoman with an MBA, and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) declared her the most efficient and organized assistant she’d ever had. Then, it turned out Claire was part of a plan with her evil Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to trap, humiliate, and possibly kill the entire Newman family.
But, as soon as the truth came out about Claire being Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Cole’s (J. Eddie Peck) much loved, much missed, long-lost daughter, suddenly Claire lost all her efficiency, her organization, and her deviousness. She’s now an innocent lost in the big, wide, bad world. She only wants to babysit Harrison (Redding Munsall) and smile sweetly at Kyle (Michael Mealor). If her sweet babysitting and smiling creates a rift between Kyle and his ex-wife, well, it surely isn’t deliberate. Oh, please, please, make it deliberate!
Home Sweet Home
Rejoice, one and all, Connor (Judah Mackey) is back in Genoa City, in the bosom of his loving parents, hale and hearty…until the next time he needs to whine and focus Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam’s (Mark Grossman) attention exclusively on him.
Chelsea is happy. Adam is happy. Chelsea is worried. Adam is worried. Neither wants to do anything — and we mean anything — to upset delicate, fragile Connor. We’re talking bets now on how long before the kid starts using it to his advantage. Beware, Sally (Courtney Hope) and Billy (Jason Thompson)!
Two Can Play at That Game
Lily (Christel Khalil) began reconsidering throwing her lot in with Billy yesterday. Now Billy is changing his tactics with Lily. Maybe this partnership wasn’t meant to be.
