The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, September 5, prove that the women of Genoa City are doing all the work. Nikki dutifully reports the latest gossip to Victor, and Lily warns Jack.
One For My Baby
Victor’s (Eric Braeden) “baby” was so furious when her husband unceremoniously fired her from Newman Media and handed the job over to Adam (Mark Grossman). When Victor needed her to manipulate Lily (Christel Khalil) for him, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) jumped to get the job done for him. Whatever Victor wants, after all, Victor gets.
Nikki knows her role as his wife and biggest enabler. Nikki pumped Lily for intel on Billy (Jason Thompson), and she didn’t walk away empty-handed. Now, Nikki goes running to report to Victor.

Tattle Tales
While Nikki advises Victor on how they can crush Billy, Lily goes to Billy’s big brother. She tells Jack (Peter Bergman) about the trouble his little screw-up brother is about to be buried in.
Lily still cares about Billy, no matter how angry she is at him. Jack cares about Billy, too. But does he care enough to give Billy a soft place to land once Abbott-Chancellor blows up in his face? Or is he done taking care of the kid…who hasn’t been a kid for a long time?

Grandpa’s Games
Victor ordered Kyle (Michael Mealor) to fire Claire (Hayley Erin) so she could come to work in the family business where she belongs. Kyle refused. And then he went tattling to Claire.
If it were anyone else, we’d think it was part of a plan to make Claire even more indebted to him. But this is Kyle.
