In some ways, Sharon has always been her own worst enemy on The Young and the Restless. Now, spoilers for September 26 hint that the dead and bloody Cameron in her head is driving her to even greater extremes. Will she cause more damage to others…or to herself?

The Hard Way

Sharon (Sharon Case) is…how to put this…not very good at making sensible decisions. And she is downright awful at making decisions that would make her life easier.

First and foremost, Sharon decided to go out of her way to aggravate Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) mother, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). That’s only come back to bite her for thirty years and counting. Next, she didn’t tell Nick about Cassie (Camryn Grimes), the daughter she gave up for adoption before they met. That led to all sorts of problems for them.

Wrong Turn

Another particularly stupid move was Sharon’s hookup with Victor (Eric Braeden). That didn’t do much to improve her relationship with Nikki, and it didn’t help her and Nick, either.

Sharon has also had some very, very ill-advised affairs and committed a series of crimes, which she did an equally bad job covering up. Let’s face it: Sharon has no self-preservation instinct.

Here and Now

Quitting her bipolar meds was another bad, bad idea. Not letting Nick and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) help her? Also ill-advised. But the worst part is her continuing to listen to Cameron (Linden Ashby)…even after he, himself, pointed out that he wasn’t real, but just her own dark side talking. S

haron has run off, locked herself up in a dingy motel, and now she’s about to do… something. To whom? Heather (Vail Bloom) fears she’s after Daniel and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant). But if history is any indication, Sharon’s biggest victim will always end up being herself.
