Young and Restless Spoilers September 17: Billy Thinks He’s In Control with Chelsea

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 17, stick to Billy’s resolve to never forgive Chelsea for sleeping with Adam. (After he’s forgiven her for so many worse things.)

This Time, It’s Really Over

Billy (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) romance has been confusing from the start. We figured after she drugged and raped him and then, years later, insisted on telling Johnny (Paxton Mishkind) that she was his biological mother…while leaving out those pertinent details…there was no chance that Billy could ever be more than frostily polite to her.

But, nope! Once she allowed him to play her knight in shining armor, Billy fell hook, line, and sinker for the con. He dismissed all that as bygones. On the other hand, Billy can’t get over the fact that Chelsea slept with Adam (Mark Grossman). Granted, he blames Adam for it 100%. Poor, sweet, defenseless Chelsea can’t make her own decisions or be responsible for her actions, Heaven forbid! Still, that was a deal breaker. And Billy will never return to her, no matter how much Chelsea pleads. He does like the pleading part, though.

Can We Talk

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) is okay with Sharon (Sharon Case) hating him forever. But he draws the line at her going after Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Good thing Sharon has her sights on Daniel, then. She comes to him to clear the air. But it only ends up muddying the waters.

It’s All Up to Me

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) doesn’t like how Sharon acts regarding Daniel and Lucy. (We know she just doesn’t like Sharon, but sure, let’s pretend that’s the case.) Since Daniel refuses to put Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) mom in her place, Phyllis has no choice but to step in because she’s a giver and a great mom.
