The Young and the Restless spoilers for May 25-29, 2020 reveal a special week dedicated to some of the most diabolical and frightening fiends ever seen on daytime TV.
Last week, viewers were treated to five classic episodes detailing the ups and downs of the Winters family. Now it’s time for this soap’s vile villains to take center stage.
Genoa City has always seemed to be a haven for the criminally insane and the murder-inclined. It’s housed black widowers, obsessed nurses with a penchant for swapping babies, and so many more. Maybe there’s something in the town’s water supply.
The jig is up for devil incarnate David Kimble (Michael Corbett). Everybody knows that he murdered his first wife, Rebecca Harper, and had planned to do the same to Nina (Tricia Cast) – and probably young Phillip Chancellor IV, as well.
And his plan to permanently silence Nina and do-gooders Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) was a total washout – thanks to his disillusioned mistress, Diane Westin.
With the police hot on his tale, David seeks sanctuary and winds up sending himself falling down a garbage shoot. When he attempts to extricate himself, David accidentally triggers the trash compactor and will be seemingly crushed to death. However, only one severed hand will be found…
On Tuesday and Wednesday, YR is offering two episodes from 2003. In the first (which originally aired on August 14 of that year), Christine finds herself at the mercy of a completely unhinged, and knife-wielding, Isabella Brana (Eva Longoria) – Paul’s wife and the woman who had attempted to frame her rival for her murder.
The next day, the action fast forwards two months and finds a disgruntled Kevin (Greg Rikaart) attempting to exact revenge on Colleen Carlton by locking her in a restaurant freezer and setting the establishment ablaze!
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) – whose evil was so great that it couldn’t be contained in Wisconsin (shoutout to the Forrester family in Los Angeles!) – takes center stage on Thursday. She’s not about to let Lauren Fenmore, her most hated enemy, bask in the afterglow of her honeymoon. No, instead she’s going to reveal herself and let Lauren know that she’ll never be safe or completely free.
Spoiler alert! Lauren does indeed escape Sheila’s wrath. But it’s a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire. Now she’s being targeted by a woman claiming to be Shelia’s sister… and she looks just like Lauren! The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
