The Young and the Restless spoilers for August 24-28, 2020 reveal a soul in crisis, and two women desperate to offer their assistance. There’s also the healing of a fractious relationship, a new plan put into motion, and the start of something exciting for a fan favorite.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Adam’s (Mark Grossman) self-destructive spiral continues, leaving Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) feeling alarmed when she awakens at the penthouse and realizes that he didn’t return home the previous night.
She becomes consumed with the notion that Adam returned to Las Vegas and she turns to Sharon (Sharon Case) for guidance and reassurance of her next move. Sharon suggests caution, and she later instructs Chelsea to return home and wait for Adam’s eventual reappearance.
Later, Sharon deduces that Adam probably retreated to his childhood home in Kansas, and she makes her own travel arrangements… with the aid of Victor (Eric Braeden) and the Newman jet.
At nearly the same time, Chelsea decides that she can no longer sit idly by and do nothing. She makes her way to the ranch, asking that Victor grant her the use of the jet for a flight to Las Vegas. When she hears that it’s already on its way to Kansas – and that Sharon is its sole occupant – Chelsea demands its immediate return… and Victor says no!
Victoria and Billy Call A Truce
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy’s (Jason Thompson) daughter is stung by a bee, suffering a severe allergic reaction. Her quick-thinking father rushes her to the nearby New Hope clinic, where she is attended to by Doctor Nate (Sean Dominic).

Billy then contacts Victoria and informs her of the situation. Once the two are face to face, Victoria sees how distraught Billy is, and she realizes that the incident has triggered his fear of losing yet another child.
The exes take advantage of a quiet moment together, with Victoria telling Billy that she has decided to let go of all the pent-up hostility that she feels towards him… and instead replace it with forgiveness. The two embrace, then collect their recuperating daughter.
YR Odds and Ends
In other Genoa City news, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) gets help from Nick (Joshua Morrow) to put a plan in motion, and a new chapter starts for Traci (Beth Maitland).
Meanwhile, Theo’s (Tyler Johnson) level of commitment is tested by Lola (Sasha Calle), whom spoilers have sharing her own electrically-charged moment with Kyle (Michael Mealor). Perhaps Theo isn’t the only one who needs to be challenged.
Finally, Nick gets a warning from Victor, Lily (Christel Khalil) questions Billy’s work ethic, and Devon (Bryton James) and Nate discuss Amanda (Mishael Morgan).
