The Young and the Restless spoilers for March 16-20, 2020, reveal co-workers (and former lovers) making the best of an awkward situation, another layer to Amanda’s past peeled away, and more.
New business partners Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil) immediately clash over their differing approaches to the task at hand. Despite the setback, they are both able to hear the other out and reach a compromise – for the time being at least.
With strategic planning momentarily suspended, the two turn their attention to more personal matters and Billy is shocked when Lily compliments him on his new laissez faire attitude rather than judge him like so many before her.
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) opens up to Nate (Sean Dominic) about her childhood in the foster care system and her eventual placement with a loving and supportive family who helped her realize her life’s ambitions.

In other Genoa City news, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) covers her tracks, tempers flare between Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Billy, and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) sweet talks Tanner (Chase Coleman) into letting her board his private jet.

Once inside, she begs Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) for forgiveness – the one thing the slighted singer isn’t sure she can offer.
Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) becomes suspicious of Adam’s (Mark Grossman) sudden change of heart and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is forced to defend her man. Also, Chance (Donny Boaz) shares some bad news with Jill (Jess Walton) and Jack (Peter Bergman) manages to keep Theo (Tyler Jonson) in line – though he loses his cool later in the week.
Finally, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) uncovers a secret, but is it the same one that spoilers have Victor desperate to keep?
And does this secret have anything to do with the surprise discovery that Adam and Chelsea stumble upon during their trip to Kansas? The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
