Phyllis isn’t Phyllis unless she has somebody to obsess over on The Young and the Restless. Back in the day, it was Danny. Then there was Jack and Billy and Diane, and now it’s Billy again. Phyllis got herself a job as Billy’s COO, and she informed him that she had his back and would do anything she could to help him keep his company away from Victor. But even Billy never expected her to go this far!
Center of the Universe
Sure, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is currently furious with Lily (Christel Khalil) on Billy’s (Jason Thompson) behalf. But the person she really sees as a threat to Billy’s holding onto Abbott-Chancellor (and Phyllis keeping her new job) is Victor (Eric Braeden). To save Billy, Phyllis needs to neutralize Victor. And she knows the best way to do it, too.

Simply Irresistible
Phyllis knows that no man can say no to her for long. She eventually got Danny (Michael Damian), didn’t she? She eventually got Jack (Peter Bergman), didn’t she? Sure, she couldn’t hold onto them in the long run. But, hey, the fat lady hasn’t sung yet, has she? If Phyllis decides to set her mind to it, she will be able to seduce Victor.

Either Way
And then, well, it could go one of two ways. Victor will fall madly in love with Phyllis in the more likely scenario. And then she’ll be able to make him do whatever she wants. Sure, no woman has ever been able to change Victor’s mind before. But, hey, no woman has ever been Phyllis, has she?
Option number two, on the off chance that Victor doesn’t instantly fall in love with Phyllis well, then, she’ll seduce him anyway — there’s no question about her skills in that department. And then she’ll blackmail him. Drop the hostile takeover of Abbott-Chancellor, or Phyllis will tell Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about their tryst. Either way, Phyllis…er, Billy, still wins. And he’ll be so grateful to Phyllis for it!
