Spoiler photos for the Wednesday, September 24, episode of The Young and the Restless feature more corporate shenanigans, confrontations, and all-around messiness.

Jack (Peter Bergman) must be exhausted right now. He’s constantly busy trying to prevent Kyle’s life from imploding and keep Billy (Jason Thompson) from destroying all of his relationships. It’s a monumental task that isn’t for the faint-hearted.
Case in point: According to teasers, Jack and Diane (Susan Walters) rein in Billy. They know the guy is spiraling after Cane (Billy Flynn) cut him loose. Billy had plans to get Chancellor and ruin Victor (Eric Braeden)! How dare Cane ruin that for him? And now Billy’s pivot is to get Jack on board with bringing down Cane. Are Jack and Diane successful in reining Billy in? Because we have our doubts that that could actually happen.
Now look at Jack. Here, he’s focusing his energies on Kyle (Michael Mealor), and his son actually looks like he’s listening. Jack must be giving him the right combination of wise words that has Kyle on the edge of his seat.
Ruh roh — Diane despises Audra (Zuleyka Silver) more than ever before, and that’s saying a lot. She has never been a fan of the woman. This conversation between Audra and Diane doesn’t look uplifting or positive. Meanwhile, Sally (Courtney Hope) looks like she’s trying to rein this conversation in. If looks could kill, however…
Here’s a couple that is looking uplifting and positive: Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael (Christian LeBlanc). Unfortunately, something tells us that this moment won’t stay that way. The weekly teasers suggest that Lauren stands her ground with Michael. Take a look at the second and third images in this slideshow. Things quickly take a turn for the husband and wife. Their conversation naturally gets intense because Michael is lying to Lauren, and she knows something is up. She just needs to know what it is. Will Michael fess up to working for Cane and/or double-agenting for Victor?
Broody Billy is a wildcard right now. He experienced a major setback when Cane refused to work with Billy because Billy’s life and demeanor read chaos, and he didn’t want any part of that. He told Billy to go mend things with Sally instead! Well, to Billy, those were fighting words. Now he wants to refocus his energy on taking care of Cane once and for all. Who’s he on the phone with, and does it have to do with his plans? Or does it have to do with this next photo?
Billy felt like Sally betrayed him when she went to Jack and Diane and spilled his plans for Chancellor and Victor. But now that he has also turned to Jack and Diane, does that change things with this couple? Getting Chancellor probably remains a priority for Billy, but he’s also no longer drinking the Cane Kool-Aid. Is there a chance for these two? Is Billy here expressing his hurt over what Sally did, or is he expressing his regrets and his sincere apologies?
