In the Friday, October 3 episode of The Young and the Restless, Jill is back in town and she’s ready to confront her son and his resentments. But she’ll also share face time with Cane. Will she think the same about him once she hears what he’s planning to do? Plus, Nate is back sitting with Amy. Is there a reason for that?
Scenes From Genoa City
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has been on many people’s minds lately. Earlier this week, Jack (Peter Bergman) turned to her and warned her about what was going on with Cane (Billy Flynn), advising her to return to town to find out what he had been up to and what he was threatening to pull off. Later, Sally (Courtney Hope) video chatted with her boyfriend’s mother and asked her to help Billy (Jason Thompson) — and her — by funding Abbott Communications. Now comes the time for Jill to visit Cane’s train and have a conversation with her son and someone she thinks of as a son.
According to the daily Y&R spoilers, Billy reopens old wounds with Jill, so expect this conversation to be emotional, heated, and potentially disastrous. However, unleashing all their feelings, resentments, and pain on each other might possibly repair their relationship instead.
If Nate (Sean Dominic) is sitting with a grieving Amy (Valarie Pettiford), then his conversation on Thursday with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) probably didn’t go well. Teasers suggested that Audra asked Nate for a second chance. So, if he’s with Amy, then he probably couldn’t find it within himself to trust Audra ever again, and he rejected her request. While Nate and Audra could truly be over, Amy might provide a sliver of hope. She’s a Nate/Audra shipper who also believes in the power of forgiveness. After all, she benefited from it with Damian. Perhaps if she made a case for Audra, Nate might reconsider his decision.
