Plus, Danny and Christine look all lovey-dovey and in a celebratory mood with their friends, Michael and Lauren. What else happens on Friday on Y&R? There are a ton of sneak peek photos to give you a clue.
Key Takeaways:
- Phyllis joins Cane on his train just as Newman Media’s smear campaign heats up.
- Jack and Jill’s discussion could redefine alliances.
- Danny and Christine’s happiness contrasts the tension between Michael and Lauren.
Scenes from Genoa City:

Newman Media has unleashed the latest hit piece on Cane (Billy Flynn), and the billionaire, formerly known as Aristotle Dumas, is reeling a bit. He urgently called Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and asked her to join him on his train. So why do the Friday spoilers suggest that Phyllis is caught in a compromising position? Does this compromising position involve Phyllis and Cane…on the train? Or does she get caught carrying out one of his requests?
It’s only natural that Cane visits Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), the duo behind Newman Media. Their hit piece on Cane is already garnering a lot of attention and portraying Cane in a negative light. Lily (Christel Khalil) is furious, and she claims that the kids we never see will feel the same. Cane has been hoping to repair his relationship with his kids, not hurt them further. So this confrontation is inevitable. Cane also knows who is really behind this smear campaign, and that’s Victor (Eric Braeden). How heated will this chat get? Also, will Cane rethink his decision not to use the super-powerful secret AI weapon? He could always unleash it on Newman, if it exists.

Victor sure doesn’t look happy here. But the weekly teasers reveal that he is happy with Adam and Chelsea’s performance. He rewards Adam and Chelsea’s loyalty. Just how does he do that?

Jack (Peter Bergman) has been scrambling to stop the supposed monster that is Cane. He’s also trying really hard to prevent having to team up with Victor. Oh, and also, there’s the energy he has to spend trying to prevent his son, Kyle (Michael Mealor), from doing anything idiotic. Currently, he has his sights set on playing puppetmaster. He’s trying to get Jill (Jess Walton) to secure Cane’s AI software so he can destroy it…or use it against Newman.

Jill is back in Genoa City, and she’s already had several conversations focused on one topic: Cane Ashby. Victor wants her to get the AI from him, and so does Jack. But no matter what Cane has threatened to do, she insists Cane is a good man. What is she going to do?
On Friday, Jill and Jack finally have that talk at Jabot. They’re sure to discuss all things AI, because, well, duh. But she will have to give Jack another assessment of what she thinks Cane is up to. But all bets may be off now that Newman struck Cane hard with that hit piece, right? Things look pleasant enough in these photos, but will the pleasantries last?
Forget pleasantries, Danny (Michael Damian) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) look beyond happy and positively joyous as their wedding nears. Additional teasers focus on Danny and Cricket making a big decision about their wedding. What do they reveal to Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman)?
Michael and Lauren look close as well. But underneath it all, trouble is brewing. Michael is lying about the Victor factor and he knows it. Will Michael and Lauren make it to 20 years on Y&R?
In the first image, it appears that Michael may be discussing his marriage problems with Christine. While in the second image, Lauren could be confiding the same thing to Danny. What is it going to take for Michael and Lauren to get over this troubling hurdle?
