Scenes from Genoa City
Jack (Peter Bergman) might be consoling Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) over what’s currently happening to Newman Enterprises. Nikki has already said that her husband’s insistence on going after Jack and Jabot led to Cane’s AI blowing back on Newman. And now the family is fighting to stop or contain the destruction. Here’s the thing. This hug and Jack and Nikki’s conversation is the calm before the storm. According to the weekly spoilers, Victor (Eric Braeden) finds Nikki and Jack in a compromising situation. This hug has to be it, right?
It looks like Crimson Lights is going to see a lot of action on Wednesday. After Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) arrives and orders her coffee from Kate Linder’s Esther (who probably has a few things to say about the Newman attack), she and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) have a rare chat. This could get tense, considering Chelsea is doing her part in trying to keep Newman from sinking. And Phyllis is partly responsible for Newman’s current troubles. Look for Phyllis to run into Daniel (Michael Graziadei) as well.
Daniel and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will have an entirely different experience at Crimson Lights than Phyllis. The two look cozy as they kiss right there in the back of the coffee shop. Tessa must feel this public display of affection is okay, since she decided to divorce Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and told Sharon (Sharon Case) about it.
The vibe between Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) looks tense. And why wouldn’t it be? The teasers suggest that Sally feels blindsided by Billy’s decision-making. So does that mean he decides to accept Cane’s offer to run Chancellor or not?
The spoilers also reveal that Phyllis stands her ground with Cane (Billy Flynn). Additionally, Cane will entertain a different guest. He and Sally will go toe-to-toe as they undoubtedly have a chat about Cane giving Billy an offer he doesn’t want to refuse.
